Weight loss is just weight loss until you add some powerful reasoning behind why you want this to happen

Speed will usually be defined by level of accuracy we can then apply to the finer details of our training and nutrition once we have mastered our baseline habits

While the idea here is to ensure we put a meal together that we enjoy - we can still be proactive in how this meal aligns with our goals

The most important step - enjoy yourself

Recently I have hired a coach of my own, both to learn from someone with more knowledge than myself and to ensure my day-to-day actions are reflective of the goals I have set for myself in terms of my health and fitness, as well as my career.

We need to think of our body as similar to that of the engine in your car - if we don’t drive a car and leave it parked up for long periods of time it is much more likely to seize up

Small tweaks and changes to our diet over a long period of time are what is usually most sustainable

We must be willing to understand that to get things we never had we must do things we’ve never done

Getting on top of good habits when it comes to your fitness can be straightforward

The aim to lose weight and build muscle are worthy pursuits, but having some functional and performance goals is what is going to help sustain your momentum

Control the chaos that can often come with this time of year

It is best practice to choose a selection of movements where we are collectively targeting each muscle group within the body

The amount of time invested into thinking and talking about dreams and goals can always be better used in taking action

A simple and effective way to stay on top of your recovery is to to stay on top of what you consume

Sleep is one of those things that you can always look to improve.  A good sleep routine is probably one of the best things you can do for your overall health and wellbeing.

If we look at our meals, prioritizing a protein source can be a great place to start

Increase your step count, join a class, or simply just park further away from your work
