Galway songwriter Jamie McIntyre has been riding the crest of a wave this past year with his viral smash hit single, 'Over Galway Town', amassing over five million streams on Spotify.
Last year, the singer was selected by Gavin James to join him as support in Paris on his European tour, which also led to him working with Imelda May and performing at Electric Picnic, followed by performances with Liverpool songwriter Jamie Webster on his sold-out shows at 3Olympia in Dublin and The Telegraph Building in Belfast.

A work-in-progress by Derek Flynn, starring Caitlin Whelan and Derek Flynn.
Set in a desolate Irish landscape sometime in the future, 'The Ink House' follows a young girl who discovers a lonely hut where a man preserves the nearly forgotten art of tattooing, now known simply as inking.
Claiming she wants to be inked, she hides her true purpose: to learn how to enter The Pale, a fortified sanctuary created by the ultra-rich before the apocalypse, where clean water, fresh food, and security still exist.
The man’s reluctance to help reveals a deeper mystery, as his own past is entangled within the hidden gates of The Pale.
The show is airing in the The Little Room, Waterford’s only dedicated theatre development space.

Irish country music icon Declan Nerney has been inducted into the Irish Country Music Hall of Fame, cementing his status as a beloved national treasure.
The honour was bestowed during the Late Late Country Music Special.
Born in Drumlish, County Longford, Nerney’s early passion for music was shaped by the vibrant showband scene.
At just 16, he joined his first band, The Hi-Lows, and soon after became a fixture on stages across Ireland. His breakthrough came with the autobiographical hit 'The Marquee in Drumlish', a tribute to his childhood and the cultural heartbeat of rural Irish music.
Over more than four decades, Nerney has crafted a catalogue brimming with signature songs, including 'Stop the World (and Let Me Off)', 'Anna from Fermanagh' and 'Three Way Love Affair'.
A dedicated performer and storyteller, Nerney has remained ever-present in the Irish country music scene.
