Chris Daze Ellis was born in 1962 in New York City. He began his prolific career painting New York City subway cars in 1976 while attending The High School of Art and Design. He remains one of the few artists of his generation to make the successful transition from the subways to the studio. This talk showcases an in-depth look at the history of street art and its rise from painting trains in 1970’s New York to the professional mainstream artform we see today. Tribute acts the the Beatles and Fleetwood Mac will be performing at Curraghmore this September.

After their first appearance in the Theatre Royal Waterford which sold out last May, Cohen Unlimited are bringing back their popular show to the Theatre Royal to celebrate what would have been Leonard Cohens 90th birthday with their celebration tour.
Cohen Unlimited Are a group of Irish professional musicians who were formed to create an incredible show called ‘Thanks for the Dance’ – The Leonard Cohen Story.
The show features the poems and songs of the legendary Canadian singer songwriter, and singer Robert Doyle tells stories and anecdotes between the songs about Cohen’s life, the story behind the songs and about meeting Cohen. The stage is set like Cohen’s last world tour and also features a visual display of his life running in the background.
