37 Reasons to be Blue, November 5, Garter Lane

37 Reasons To Be Blue is a work-in-progress performance piece by Ki McBride exploring how, in an increasingly atomised society, we are bombarded with ever increasing serious crises yet feel powerless to do anything.

It asks how we can bear the weight of this, individually and collectively, how terror infects our alienated selves, and wonders where we are all headed.

Ki McBride is an interdisciplinary artist who holds a BA in Drama and Theatre Studies, from Trinity College, Dublin and an MFA in Art in the Digital World from NCAD.

The work moves between installation, theatre, visual media design and performance and is often participatory and collaborative.

Other recent work includes the For the Love of Water festival, developed as part of ACT Waterford, which examined the impact of climate change on the biodiversity of river and water systems.

In 2021, Ki developed 'An Injury to one is an Injury to All' in Garter Lane’s, A Little Room. This documentary theatre piece highlighted the struggles of ex-Debenhams workers and their fight for justice.

3 Bucks Left, November 16, Bank Lane

3 Bucks Left is a spin-off of County Mayo's own Hardy Bucks, created by childhood friends. This satire is laden with comedy and pathos throughout, inspiring many other acts in its wake. Now a decade later, it remains one of Ireland's favourite comedy shows.

The show is described as a ‘crude, lofty, self-deprecating introspection, coupled with rowdy philosophies.’ Tickets at banklane.ie
