Little Lane Bookshop officially reopens this week

Little Lane Bookshop is set to officially reopen this Sunday August 30. 

Two months ago, Waterford City's only secondhand-bookstore closed up shop in Spring Garden Alley. 

The shop has expanded into a premises on O'Connell Street, located just across from Phoenix Yard Market. 

Though it has has yet to reopen 'officially', the shop is a hub of excitement as proprietor Jim Reid puts the final touches on to the premises. 

Over the weekend, the shop was flooded with customers and well-wishers excited to see the new space. The shopfront boasts an enviable array of classic books, including 'Tales from Two Cities' by local legend Dervla Murphy.

Little Lane Bookshop posted online: "We have been completely overwhelmed by your support! It was amazing to see so many familiar and new faces alike, you have been missed!"

The shop is open from Wednesday to Saturday 11am to 7pm and Sunday 12pm to 4pm.
