Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage by fire in Waterford.
In the early hours of the morning (Friday September 18), it is understood that an accelerant was used on a car in the Birchwood area of Waterford City.
The fire was extinguished by local fire services.
No injuries were reported.
