A big thank you and well done to our local group of litter pickers who do such a tremendous job keeping our area tidy and free of litter. It is up to every individual however to take their own rubbish home with them, there is absolutely no excuse for dumping litter. The Litter Picker Group is a bunch of volunteers who give their time and volunteer to pick up litter which is mostly thrown out of the windows of passing vehicles. It is very easy to have an empty bag in your car to take home your rubbish in.
If you would like me to include any items in these notes for you please contact me Linda Spillane on 087 9838392 or spillanelinda2017@gmail.com It is a wonderful way to keep in touch with what is going on in the local community and to inform people about things happening within your club or organisation.
