Gathering On The Green

A Family Day will take place as part of Gathering On The Green in Stradbally on Saturday, August 22, from 2pm to 8pm. The event promises fun for all ages with a wide range of activities including live music, food stalls, arts and crafts, a ball run and pattern games. Organisers are promoting the day as a family-friendly community event with plenty of entertainment, good food and a welcoming atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy musical performances throughout the afternoon, sample food and treats from local stalls and take part in creative arts and crafts activities. Traditional games and a ball run will also provide entertainment for children and adults alike. The event is being supported by Stradbally Tidy Towns and Féileacáin. Organisers are encouraging everyone to come along for what promises to be a great family day out in Stradbally.

Graveyard Masses

The annual Graveyard Masses will take place in August, offering parishioners and families an opportunity to gather in prayer and remember their loved ones who have gone before them. The first Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 11, at St Anne's Church, Ballylaneen, beginning at 7pm. On Wednesday, August 12, Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Church, Faha, also commencing at 7pm. The final Graveyard Mass will be held on Thursday, August 13, at Holy Cross Church, Stradbally, with prayers beginning at 7pm.
