Students Recognised for Positive Behaviour

Students at Ardscoil na Mara were recently recognised for their positive contribution to school life through the school's Compliment Card initiative. The programme aims to acknowledge and reward students who consistently demonstrate positive behaviour, respect for others and active engagement within the school community.

A number of third-year students received Compliment Cards in recognition of their efforts. The awards highlighted qualities such as kindness, good citizenship, consideration for others, strong work ethic and positive participation in school activities. The initiative forms part of the school's continuing commitment to promoting a supportive and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Teachers and staff praised the recipients for setting an excellent example for their peers. They emphasised that positive behaviour plays a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere where students feel respected, supported and encouraged to learn. By recognising these behaviours publicly, the school hopes to inspire others to make similarly positive contributions.

The Compliment Card initiative has become an important aspect of school life, encouraging students to take pride in their actions both inside and outside the classroom. Staff believe that celebrating positive behaviour helps to strengthen relationships, foster mutual respect and build a strong sense of community throughout the school.

During the presentation, students were congratulated on their achievements and thanked for the contribution they make to everyday school life. Their positive attitudes and willingness to support others were acknowledged as qualities that help create an environment in which everyone can thrive.
