This globally celebrated event brings together master watchmakers, horology enthusiasts, collectors, and artisans for an unparalleled celebration of timekeeping excellence.
Now in its third year, the festival features an array of exhibitions, masterclasses, expert talks, and exclusive showcases from some of the world’s finest independent watchmakers.
Attendees will have the rare opportunity to examine extraordinary timepieces, explore the intricate art of watchmaking, and engage with some of the most respected figures in the industry.
The festival will take place at various historic venues throughout Waterford.

Author Orla Mackey will join Librarian Fiona Foskin for a Writers at Waterford Libraries event in Ardkeen Library on 24th May at 3.00 pm to discuss her debut novel, Mouthing, and writing life. Orla is a writer and teacher based in Kilkenny. She studied English Literature at Trinity College, Dublin. Her debut novel was released in 2024 to widespread acclaim.
Mouthing is sharp-eyed and sharp-tongued, a multigenerational portrait of small-town life in Ireland from a refreshing new talent in literary fiction.

Only a handful of tickets remain for the Sunday night performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Lismore Castle, as Blackwater Valley Opera Festival prepares to welcome audiences.
With just weeks to go, tickets from €20 are also selling fast for Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas on Tuesday 27 May and Thursday 29 May.
Now in its 15th anniversary year, Ireland’s Summer Opera Festival combines world-class performances, education programmes, free community events, and more.
Free open-air recitals will also take place in Lismore, Dungarvan, Youghal and Castlemartyr.
On Tuesday 27 May at 12 midday, the Festival Opening Ceremony will take place at Millennium Park, in the heart of Lismore.
Later that evening at 6pm, audiences are invited to A Midsummer Night’s Dream: In Conversation with Dieter Kaegi, a free public event at Lismore Heritage Centre with BVOF Artistic Director and Co-Founder, offering insights into the season’s opera productions.
