Millennium Mambo Angel Olsen once sang: “There is nothing new under the sun.” Diving through the archives of the year 2000 I found myself humming that line again and again as one familiar story after another popped up: ‘Waterford Airport could be bigger and better!’ ‘Waterford needs stronger representation in Government!’ ‘WIT should be upgraded to a University!’ ‘Where is Burger King?!’ The questions never end, even a quarter of a century later we’re still trying to find the damn answers.
