From the Archive: Munster snooker championship winners in 89, cemetery cheque handover in '88 and more from Waterford's past
The Showboat, winners of the Munster Club Snooker CHampionships at Kilkenny back in 1989, included were, Pat Storan, Tom Treacy, Nicky Quinlan, Eugene Ryan, Stan Bergin, Brendan Sullivan, Front, Peter Condon and Douglas Hogan.
Staff photographer, Joe Evans, is going to look back through the archives of Waterford News & Star to compile galleries of photos from Waterford's past.
Photos will also appear in the forthcoming print edition of the newspaper and also online here at waterford-news.ie.
