Based on the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899, this new Disney musical tells the story of Jack Kelly, a rebellious newsboy who dreams of a life as an artist away from the big city. After publishing giant Joseph Pulitzer raises newspaper prices at the newsboys’ expense, Kelly and his fellow newsies take action. With help from the beautiful female reporter Katherine Plumber, all of New York City soon recognizes the power of “the little man”.
Join the talented students of Soul Dance Arts as they take to the stage in their annual end of year performance. This performance features students aged between 3 and 18.

Waterford Gallery of Art are delighted to present a new solo exhibition of retrospective paintings from 2010 – 2025 by Dungarvan based award winning artist, Catherine Barron.
Salvaged metal plates, vintage 78rpm records, book covers, and playing cards serve as the artists canvas to reveal a deeply personal, as well as allegorical, biographical journey.
Catherine Barron was born in Co. Carlow, lives and works in Dungarvan co. Waterford since 2017, and is represented by the Molesworth Gallery.
Waterford’s own King Kong Company have revealed they will be performing a hometown gig before hitting the festival field this Summer.
The festival warm up show will be taking place at Bank Lane this May.
When it comes to Irish festival favourites, few bands have the pedigree and presence of King Kong Company.
The Waterford-born collective has made a habit of turning festival fields into full-blown parties.
The group will be joined on the night in Bank Lane by Peter Vogelaar's new live 2-man show.
