Six brand new plays set for Tramore stage as Theatre Vamps and Stagemad join forces
Theatre lovers in Waterford will have the opportunity to see six brand-new original plays brought to life by local performers this November
Theatre lovers in Waterford will have the opportunity to see six brand-new original plays brought to life by local performers when Theatre Vamps and Stagemad Theatre Company join forces for a special production in Tramore this November.
The two theatre groups are collaborating on '6 Plays for 2026', which will see six original plays performed over three nights at the Coastguard Cultural Centre in Tramore.
The production will run on November 27, 28 and 29.

Theatre Vamps announced the upcoming production, saying they were "delighted" to be joining with Stagemad Theatre Company for the project.
Unlike a traditional theatre production centred on one full-length work, 6 Plays for 2026 will give audiences the chance to experience six separate original plays as part of the event. The plays include Painter Joe and Holy Mary by Derek Flynn; The Deal by Ryan Kaminski; Slow Our Ship by Arianna Rose; The Fault in our Genes by James McLindon; Weeping Wounds by Ellen Harrison; and Heist by Lisa Dellagiarino.
The format also puts new work centre stage, with all six plays being original productions rather than established works already familiar to audiences.
The performances will provide an opportunity to support both original work and the wealth of acting and theatrical talent in the area.
It will also see two names from the local theatre scene coming together for the production, with Theatre Vamps collaborating with Stagemad.
Theatre Vamps said: "Theatre Vamps are delighted to join with Stagemad Theatre Company for 6 Plays for 2026, six brand new original plays performed by a host of local talent."
The three-night run will get underway at the Coastguard Cultural Centre on Friday, November 27, continuing on Saturday, 28, and Sunday, 29.
Tickets are on sale now through GR8 Events.
