Woman allegedly assaulted on Barrack Street in Waterford city

A man appeared in Waterford District Court last week following allegations that he physically assaulted a woman.
On November 17, 2025, Gardaí responded to call from a woman who said that she was assaulted at a location near Barrack Street in Waterford city.
She alleges that she received punches through a gap in a door.
Gardaí noted that she had a bruise under her eye.
Jurisdiction to the District Court was accepted.
The matter has now been adjourned for hearing on November 16.
