Woman (25) appears in court over incident on Waterford city quays
CCTV footage was reviewed, showing two parties engaging in a fight and pulling each other outside Centra on the Quay in Waterford city.
A 25-year-old woman appeared in Waterford District Court last week relating to an alleged incident of affray that took place in Waterford city.
Gardaí became aware of the incident after receiving reports of a verbal dispute outside Centra, the Quay.
CCTV footage was reviewed, showing two parties engaging in a fight and pulling each other. The party who appeared in court last week, alleged to be involved, was Ellie Hughes, of 8 Maplewood, Templars Hall, Waterford city.
Judge John Cheatle accepted District Court jurisdiction and the woman was assigned with a defence practitioner.
The matter will return to court for further hearing next month.
