Weather warning issued for high temperatures in Waterford this weekend
A yellow high temperature warning has been issued in Waterford.
Maximum temperatures in excess of 27°C combined with night-time minima in excess of 15°C are expected.
The warning is valid from Saturday July 12 at 12pm until Sunday July 13 at 6am.
Potential impacts outlined by Met Éireann include water safety issues due to increased use of lakes/beaches, forest fires, uncomfortable sleeping conditions and heat stress.
