Waterford solicitor wins major award
Suzanne Parker, of Parker Law Solicitors won Munster Principal Solicitor of the Year
A Waterford City solicitor, Suzanne Parker, of Parker Law Solicitors, won the Munster Principal Solicitor of the Year accolade at the Irish Law Awards.
The awards gala took place on Friday, June 6, in the Clayton Burlington Hotel. Parker Law Solicitors, based in new offices at 1-2 Barronstrand Street, was named as finalists in six categories for the awards.
The law firm was set up by Suzanne Parker in March, 2019. She trained in Dublin before returning to Waterford to open her own office with a mission and passion for client care excellence.
Suzanne was also a winner at the 2022 and 2023 awards, bringing home Munster Sole Principal of the Year and Munster Lawyer of the Year.
The Irish Law Awards are aimed at identifying, honouring and publicising outstanding achievements, while also recognising those who have dedicated their lives to serving in the legal profession.
The annual event is designed to recognise excellence in the legal profession of Ireland.
The awards are judged by a panel of experts and nominations received are sent to judges and reviewed.
Nominees are judged against set criteria.
There are two rounds of online judging as well as judging panel meetings to determine our finalists and winners.
Suzanne also won the Waterford Network Ireland, Established Businesswoman of the Year award at a ceremony on Friday, May 26.
She will represent Waterford at the national awards in Killarney, in September.
