Judge refuses jurisdiction in Waterford burglary case

A Waterford judge has refused jurisdiction in an alleged case of burglary.
Natasha O'Reilly (30), of 28 Carrigeen Crescent, Waterford, is accused of committing burglary contrary to Section 12 (1)(b) and Section 3 of the Criminal Justice Act. Her co-accused Thomas Walsh (64), of 1 Mary Street, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, is charged with the same offence.
O'Reilly appeared recently at Waterford District Court before Judge Kevin Staunton. Sergeant Michael Hickey said that the accused were seen leaving a house on Six Cross Roads on May 4, 2026, carrying a pink bag. According to Sgt. Hickey, cash, jewellery and a phone with a combined value of €2,000 was taken from the home.
The matter was put back to December 15.
