Waterford school enjoys orienteering success at national event

A County Waterford secondary school had a very successful outing recently in the All-Ireland schools orienteering competition which took place in Castlecomer, in Co Kilkenny.
Pupils from Ardscoil na Mara travelled to the event with a team of 13 orienteers.
The delegation recorded some very impressive results and were compose of: Eimear Casey - won silver for second place in the Third Year Girls category and Liam Casey - won gold for winning the Post Junior Cert Boys section.

In the team event, the Post Junior Cert Boys group finished in third place, winning bronze.
The team was composed of: Alfie Corcoran, Cormac Sims, Cian O'Cadhal and Oscar Mullane.
