Waterford businesswoman, Joanne Quinn Geoghegan, recognised for her leadership and innovation in the Irish beauty industry, has been appointed to the judging panel for the 2026 Professional Beauty, Hair and Spa awards.
Joanne is founder of Beautorium Training Academy and Waterford Skin & Laser Clinic.
The prestigious ceremony, organised by Professional Beauty UK and Hairdressers Journal International, will take place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the InterContinental Dublin, during the Professional Beauty & Hair Show weekend.
The event is regarded as one of the most respected celebrations of excellence and innovation across the UK and Irish beauty, hair, and spa industries.
With over 20 years of experience in advanced skincare, education, and business development, Joanne is widely recognised as one of Ireland’s most knowledgeable and respected industry leaders.
Her dual businesses - Beautorium Training Academy and Waterford Skin & Laser Clinic - have become synonymous with quality, professionalism, and progressive education in beauty and aesthetics.
The latest appointment comes during an exceptional year for Joanne as both her businesses were nominated in multiple national awards, and Joanne herself has been shortlisted for Innovator of the Year at the 2025 Hi Style Women of Vision Awards.
Commenting on her own vision, she said: "I’m passionate about raising standards and celebrating excellence in our industry."
“Being invited to judge at this level is a wonderful opportunity to highlight Irish talent on a national stage and to recognise the commitment, creativity, and professionalism that define our sector," she said.
Through Beautorium Training Academy, Joanne has played a key role in supporting the next generation of beauty professionals, offering internationally recognised ITEC and VTCT qualifications, along with specialist advanced skincare and laser training.
Meanwhile, Waterford Skin & Laser Clinic continues to set the benchmark for clinical skincare and aesthetic treatments in the South East.
Joanne’s latest achievement as a national judge reinforces her long-standing dedication to excellence, education, and empowerment within the Irish beauty industry - and once again puts Waterford firmly on the map as a hub of talent and innovation.
