Waterford community choir on the way to Vienna
Members of the Soul Song Community Gospel Choir
A Waterford-based choir will be travelling abroad this coming weekend to participate in one of the world's most prestigious music events.
The Soul Song Community Gospel Choir will be travelling to Vienna to perform in Vienna International Choral Festival which will feature some of the world's foremost choral groups and ensembles.
However, it's not the choirs first venture abroad as its members have participated in the Prague Christmas Choral Festival for the last two years.
They did so with great success and made great friends along the way and all the while flying the Déise flag and doing Waterford proud.
The choir is very involved in fundraising for local charity's and rehearses every Thursday night at 7pm in the St Paul's Parish meeting rooms.
