Mae McGrath was recently honoured with a Mayoral Reception in Waterford in recognition of her 55 years of contribution to the local community by enhancing the lives of others through music.
Since the 1940s, Mae has been playing music in churches and halls across the county, and Waterford Mayor, Cllr Jason Murphy, bestowed the honour on her at a function in City Hall.
