Twin brothers accused of attacking young man in Waterford remain in custody

Twin brothers who are accused of attacking a man in Waterford city in June have had their applications for High Court bail refused.
Dale Brazil (31) of 14 Butterfield Drive, Mountneil Drive and Derek Brazil (31) of 29 Knightsgrange, Lacken Road, have been in custody since June 12.
Their charges relate to their alleged involvement in an incident that occurred on Monday, June 8 at St John’s River Walk, Waterford city.
The two men charged in connection with the incident appeared via video link from custody to Waterford District Court this week.
The court was informed that directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions are awaited.
Both men were remanded in custody to August 25.
