Still no progress in Waterford murder trial 

Tomas Marvanek, age 39, was charged with murder

Tomas Marvanek, a 39-year-old man accused of committing murder in Waterford city, was due to appear in-person at Waterford District Court on Thursday.

Marvanek was transported to the courthouse from prison, however, did not make an appearance before the judge.

The court was informed that a book of evidence was not ready to be served, and no direction had been provided yet on progressing the case to trial.

The man was remanded in custody to July 28. He will reappear by video link on this date to Waterford Courthouse.

Marvanek, who has an address at Grange Heights, Waterford City, has been in custody since April charged with the murder of Yveta Donovalova. 

The mother-of-three was discovered with serious injuries in her home on April 27.
