SETU to guide students at Higher Options event in Dublin

SETU will have a strong presence at this year's Higher Options event
South East Technological University (SETU) will be on hand to inspire students as they consider their third-level education options at this year’s Higher Options expo at the RDS, Dublin.
Taking place from Wednesday to Friday, September 17 to 19, Higher Options is Ireland’s largest education exhibition.
Each year, the event, organised by The Irish Times, attracts around 30,000 students from across the country, offering them the chance to meet representatives from universities and colleges in Ireland, the UK, Europe and beyond.
SETU has a significant presence at this year’s Higher Options with faculty and school liaison and outreach officers from the university present to answer students’ questions about the University’s numerous degrees across arts, business, computing, engineering, health science, humanities and science.
A spokesperson for the college encouraged students to talk to the university's representatives at the event, commenting: "Talk to the team and gain invaluable insights into courses, campus life, and admissions procedures."
Jess Lawton, Deputy Manager in School, CAO and Career Guidance Engagement at SETU, encouraged sixth-year students to plan their visit in advance.
“Whether you’re certain about your next step or still exploring your options, visiting SETU’s stand at 222 in the Shelbourne Hall is the perfect way to gather the information you need," said Jess.
"Come prepared with a list of questions about entry requirements, course content and future career paths - our team is here to help."
Highlighting how the student experience goes beyond the classroom, Alison Moore, Schools Liaison Officer at SETU, added: “Higher Options is also the ideal chance to learn more about what makes college life special. Listen to the experiences of our graduates, learn about SETU’s facilities from our staff, and explore the clubs, societies, and sporting opportunities that will shape your time as a student."
"University is about more than lectures and exams; it’s also about creating lasting memories," said Alison.
