'Serious' crash on N24 near Waterford City, driver (late teens) in hospital
Garda are appealing to the public for information over the crash on the N24 near Waterford City.
A teenage driver has been hospitalized for 'serious injuries' after a crash on the N24 close to Waterford City.
Gardaí are appealing for information from the public after a serious injury road traffic collision occurred on the N24 near Aglish South, Carrigeen, Co. Kilkenny on Friday September 25, 2026.
The single vehicle collision involving a car occurred at approximately 0:05am.
The driver, a male in his late teens, was conveyed to University Hospital Waterford for the treatment of 'serious injuries'.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were travelling on the N24 near Aglish South, Carrigeen, Co. Kilkenny between 11:30pm on Thursday 24th and 0:10am on Friday 25th September2026, are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
