Section of Waterford nature park to close for remedial works

A section of the Kilbarry Nature Park on the Tramore Road is closed temporarily, from today, Wednesday, April 30.
In a post on social media, Waterford City and County Council say a section of the perimeter walking path will be closed to facilitate remedial works and ensure health and safety.
"The purpose of these works is to ensure that we comply with the requirements to manage and maintain Kilbarry Nature Park under its registered EPA licence, said the council.
The park is still open, with a diversion route in place for walkers.
Waterford City and County Council apologise for the inconvenience.
