Robbery of Applegreen service station in Waterford city comes before the court
Applegreen, Cleaboy
Investigations into the robbery of Applegreen Service Station at Cleaboy on June 23 are advancing.
It is alleged that on this date, Anthony O’Regan (39), of 67 Larchville, entered the store and stole €860 from the shop assistant.
A garda statement circulated shortly after the incident informed the public that the man is believed to have entered the Applegreen premises at approximately 7.45pm and threatened staff. He left the location on foot.
Waterford District Court was informed last week that a Book of Evidence may be ready as soon as Tuesday, September 15.
An additional charge against the man will also be preferred on this date.
