A total of 15.5% of the site area was proposed for public open space.
The authority decided to extend the duration of a grant of planning permission to applicant Ninety Eight FB Houses Ferrybank Ltd on May 30.
The original application name was listed as Michael Doyle Civil Engineering Ltd.
A decision is expected from the local authority (Kilkenny County Council) on whether to grant the extension of duration on or before July 24.
