New sports facilities planned at Mount Congreve

Planning application was submitted on Friday for the construction of padel tennis courts on the grounds of Mount Congreve.

The application outlines intentions to build two courts, complete with an artificial grass playing surface.

The courts include associated fencing and lighting

The development is being lead by Irish padel operator, Padel 100, who are in the process of developing 150 padel courts across Ireland in 2025 and 2026, as the sport surges in popularity.
