Neville Hotel group granted permission to transform former Alfie Hale's bar

The regeneration of Lombard Street continues, with planning permission granted this week for changes to the former Alfie Hale's sports bar.

Neville Hotels, operators of the Tower Hotel, have been carrying out significant expansion works in the area of late.

The latest construction works which are now due to commence is the conversion of the former sports bar and an adjoining residence into four one-bed apartments.

Also approved is the demolition of existing single and two-storey extensions to the rear of the bar.
