Local Gardaí make very successful visit to Tory Woodcraft Waterford

A member of the Waterford Roads Policing Unit made a very welcome call recently in the city.
Garda Gráinne OShea, had the great pleasure of calling to Tory Woodcraft, Waterford, to carry out Road Safety Training.
In an online post Waterford Gardaí said the first aspect of the visit involved some in class learning where some great questions were asked.
Following that everyone went outside where people got to show their new road skills.
"At the end, after inspecting the patrol car, everybody received a certificate and a hi-viz jacket," noted the Gardaí in their post.
"It was a fantastic visit and great fun," they added.
The Gardaí also offered advice to all members of the public going forward: "Remember, even with the days getting longer we must always wear our hi-vizability jackets."
People should always remember 'be safe, be seen'.
