Members and friends of Kickstart Scooter Club were proud to present a cheque for €2,000 to the palliative care team at University Hospital Waterford.

This fantastic amount was raised through the Dave Scanlon Memorial Benefit Night and the Dave Scanlon Memorial Scooter Rideout, which has now become a special annual event in Dave's memory. The organisers would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, attended, sponsored, volunteered, and joined them once again this year.

"Your generosity, kindness, and continued support have made this incredible donation possible. Every euro raised will help support the amazing work carried out by the Palliative Care Team at University Hospital Waterford, and we are grateful to everyone who played a part in making this year's events such a success.

"Thank you all for helping us keep Dave's memory alive while supporting such a deserving cause.

"We look forward to seeing you all again next year," said Kickstart Scooter Club.
