Kebab-eating driver in hot sauce with Waterford Gardaí
Gardaí found the driver of the car to be four times over the drink-driving limit.
A driver in Waterford has been caught by Gardaí for drink driving as his unusual driver behaviour grabbed their attention.
The driver was found stopped at a green light while eating a kebab. He then proceeded to drive his car through the light, despite it having changed to red.
When he was brought in by Waterford Gardaí to the station, he was tested for alcohol consumption. The results indicated that he was four times over the legal drink-driving limit.
In a separate incident brought to the attention of Gardaí in the last week, another driver was found to be asleep at the wheel while stopped at a set of traffic lights. The incident was previously reported by the News & Star here.
