Interpol identify local man illegally publishing intimate images online

A local man appeared in Waterford courthouse last week for allegedly posting intimate images of another individual on social media.
The man was identified as living locally following an investigation which was carried out by the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol).
It is alleged that the man published intimate imagery of another person on Twitter.
During the court hearing last week, Judge Kevin Staunton accepted jurisdiction over the matter at Waterford District Court.
The man will be remanded on continuing bail until October 27.
On this date, the matter will be reheard before a judge.
