CAOIMHÍN

Tramore is set to come alive as the fourth annual Gaelscoil Gig returns on March 5, with an unforgettable night of music at Gaelscoil Philib Barún, Trá Mhór.

Gaelscoil Gigs 2026 is a celebration of language, creativity and community in the heart of Tramore.

With a lineup that spans soulful Gaelic fusion, experimental traditional soundscapes and high-voltage indie rock, the night promises something truly special for music lovers of every stripe.

This year’s event brings together three extraordinary acts who are reshaping the sound of contemporary Irish music.

Leading the charge is Caoimhín, a producer, singer and multi-instrumentalist forging a soulful new Gaelic sound.

Weaving Irish tradition with downtempo electronica, nu-disco grooves, psychedelia and nature-based spirituality, Caoimhín creates an immersive live experience that feels both ancient and entirely of the moment. His music is also opening up exciting new pathways for the Irish language in modern sound.

Joining the lineup is Seamas Hyland, a boundary-pushing multi-instrumentalist, set dancer and composer whose work spans traditional and experimental.

A master of the button accordion, Seamas' performances are dynamic, inventive and deeply rooted.

Completing the bill is Pixie Cut Rhythm Orchestra, the Dublin-based indie-rock and grunge trio renowned for capturing the existential ennui of modern life in the capital.

Born from Dublin’s underground music scene, Pixie Cut Rhythm Orchestra fuses the raw energy of 90s alternative rock with delicate, poetic sensibilities. Their sound is gritty, honest and emotionally charged.

Tickets are €23 and available now on Eventbrite.

The event takes place March 5, with doors opening at 7pm
