Halloween films screening for all ages in Lismore

Lismore Castle Arts will screen some Halloween classics over the Bank Holiday.
If you or your child is a lover of all things Halloween, magic and fantasy, then Lismore Castle Arts is the place to visit this coming October Bank Holiday weekend to view some great classics.
If it's a family affair, there's a screening of the all-time classic, 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone', where witchcraft and wizardry will showcase from inside Pugin Hall at 12pm on Friday, October 25.
"This screening is primarily scheduled for school children who may come as a group supervised by teachers. However, children accompanied by a parent or guardian are also welcome to attend," explained the theatre.
The film, directed by Chris Columbus, is the first of the famous series starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, to be based on the books written by J.K Rowling.
The main character, Harry Potter, discovers he's a famous wizard and while battling his way through the world of dark magic, he makes some truly great friends along the way in Ron and Hermione.
Tickets for adults and children are €3.
If witchcraft and supernatural horror is more your style, and you're over the age of 18, then at a later time in Pugin Hall there's a showing of 'Suspiria' (2018).
The Lismore location is the ideal setting to watch the film inspired by the original 1977 version by Dario Argentos.
American Woman, Susie Bannion, enrolls at a prestigious dance academy in West Berlin, however, soon after her arrival the series of supernatural, sinister and grisly murders begin.
Tickets €15, snacks & complimentary soft drinks included.
Tickets for both films are available at lismorecastlearts.ie.
