Hazardous waste can be dropped off for free in Waterford this weekend.
On Saturday, November 8, people in Waterford can get rid of their hazardous waste for free.
It will take place from 9am to 1pm at the car park at the rear of SETU's Main Campus, X91 VY9N. You can only access the entrance from the roundabout on Paddy Browne's Road.
Entry is permitted only for those who have registered online. The link can be found on Eventbrite or mywaste.ie
- Household Chemicals: Disinfectants, detergents, bleach, oven cleaners and toilet bowl cleaners
- Personal Care Products: Nail polish, nail polish remover and aerosols
- Garden Chemicals: Pesticides and herbicides
- Paints: Leftover (10 cans per person limit) and paint-related products such as paintbrushes and rollers.
- Solvents: Varnishes, thinners, strippers, inks, glues and resins
- Automotive Products: Used motor oil (25 litres per person limit), petrol, diesel, antifreeze and surface polish
This collection is for household hazardous waste only. Commercial/farm waste cannot be accepted.
