Gardaí investigating airplane crash in Waterford
Gardaí are on the scene.
Gardaí are investigating the collision of a light aircraft near Tramore, Co Waterford.
The collision is understood to have occurred near Waterford Airport at approximately 12.50pm this Thursday afternoon, November 20.
Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene.
Traffic diversions have been put in place. There are unconfirmed reports that at least one person may have passed away due to the collision.
A Garda spokesperson: "As this is a live and ongoing operation, no further information is available at this time."
