Waterford gardaí are investigating the theft of a medical bag from an ambulance at UHW.
A garda spokesperson said that on May 28, the ambulance was parked at the hospital and crew were attending to a patient in the building.
When they returned to the ambulance, the medical bag had been stolen.
"Obviously, this is more valuable to the crew than to anyone who stole it. CCTV has been obtained and an investigation is ongoing.
"If you have any information, please contact Unit B at Waterford Garda Station on 051 305300," said the spokesperson.
Gardai are also reminding the public that if you observe a crime being committed please phone 112/999.
