The weather warning will be in place from 6 pm tonight (November 11) until 10 am on Wednesday morning (November 12).
The fog will impact all of Leinster including Waterford, as well as Cavan, Monaghan, Munster, Galway, Leitrim, Roscommon.
The national forecaster has warned that the widespread mist and fog may cause poor visibility as well as hazardous travelling conditions.
