Construction of crematorium planned in Waterford
A planning application has been submitted for the construction of a crematorium at Aidan Walsh & Sons Funeral Home in Tallow.
The application also includes provision for the extension of the existing funeral home on Michael J Prendergast Road to provide a showroom on the northern side of the building with a chapel and ancillary accommodation on the southern side.
A decision from the local authority is expected to be made by September 4.
