Columbarium planned in county Waterford graveyard

A columbarium is being planned at the new Abbeyside, Ballinroad and Garranbane Graveyard.
A columbarium is a structure designed to hold the cremated remains of the deceased in urns.
Fr. Ned Hassett, on behalf of Waterford and Lismore Diocese, submitted the planning application last week.
A decision is expected on whether to grant permission for the application by August 21.
