Body recovered from River Suir
Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the incident on Tuesday evening.
A man has passed away after encountering trouble while in the River Suir in the Carrick-on-Suir area.
WLR FM have reported that gardaí and emergency services were alerted to an incident yesterday (Tuesday, July 1) at around 8:30pm where a male encountered difficulty in the water.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has since been recovered from the river.
Investigations are ongoing.
