Anniversary of club's county hurling victory to be celebrated in Waterford

The silver jubilee of a County Waterford GAA club's county championship victory is to be celebrated in the Déise county this coming weekend.

In 2000, Ballyduff intermediate hurlers were the County Champions and the milestone event will be celebrated on Saturday, November 22.

The band, Throwing Shapes, will be on hand to entertain with some great music in O'Donnacha's at 9pm.

Ballyduff Lower GAA club will present each member of that victorious team with a special memento of the occasion.

It promises to be a great night out and will no doubt be filled with great memories of a what was a fantastic time for the club.

It's also likely that many significant moments from that historic game will also be recalled on the night.

MC for the evening will be John O'Shea.
