'All faiths' town walk to take place in Waterford

Waterford Interfaith Group will be holding an Interfaith Walk in Waterford on Saturday, June 28.
The 'All Faiths Town Walk' will take place at 3pm that day.
The walk will set off from the Apple Market and from there wind its way to City Hall.
One of the organisers commented ahead of the event, to the Waterford News & Star, and said: "We invite members of different faith communities to join us in this important community building endeavour."
"This short symbolic walk, starting at The Apple Mart at 3pm and walking to The City hall, is to remind us of the vital need to bring the much needed powerful forces of tolerance and love to bear on our every encounter," she added.
After the walk is finished those involved will be invited to visit the Garden Room of City Hall for a small refreshments reception which will take place at 3pm.
