€4 million expansion for Dungarvan's Park Hotel

The Park Hotel in Dungarvan has undergone a whopping €4 million expansion. 

The multi-million investment includes the development of 21 new family bedrooms, increasing the hotel’s bedroom capacity from 84 to 105, creating approximately 30 new roles across accommodation, food and beverage and hotel operations.

It is the largest expansion for the hotel, part of the award-winning Flynn Hotel Collection, since it's opening in 1990.

The funding includes a €150,000 upgrade of the hotel’s outdoor Garden Bar, alongside further investment in leisure facilities.

The expansion marks and exciting new chapter for not just the hotel but tourism in Dungarvan overall.

The brand new rooms contain warm earthy tones, heritage-inspired plaids, natural textures and durable finishes, alongside purpose-built bunk beds perfect for families. The new additions have put the Park Hotel in the same league as sister hotels Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny and The Old Ground Hotel in Ennis. 

The new family floor has significantly expanded the hotel’s capacity for family stays. Ten of the new rooms accommodate two adults, two children and a baby, while eleven can accommodate two adults, three children and a baby. The room mix also includes a two-bedroom family suite suitable for two adults, two children and a baby.

The hotel are now taking bookings for the autumn, Halloween and winter family breaks.
