Furthermore, sleep is going to play a key role when it comes to your training and performance.
In this article I will offer 3 simple tip-s we can start to implement right away!
One of the most fundamental things you can do for your sleep, is a routine.
A routine that ensures we are waking up and going to bed at a similar time on a daily basis - where possible.
Ensuring a cool and clean environment where you sleep is an underrated step you can take to ensure you are optimising your sleep hygiene.
Having a welcoming environment where you can relax and unwind is essential when it comes to looking to improve the overall quality of your sleep.
A rather self explanatory step to those who find they are generally quite sensitive to caffeine.
A set time in the day, ideally 5 to 8 hours before you plan to go to bed is another fool-proof step we can take to improve the quality of your sleep right away.
Caffeine and sleep quality are not a great combo, despite how easily you may fall asleep - if there is still caffeine circulating through your bloodstream - sleep quality is highly likely to be inhibited.
While these steps may seem rather simple - they are in fact, effective.
Effective as steps you can take right away to begin improving your sleep and indulging in the plethora of benefits that come with it.
Your future self will thank you!
