DAIRY STOCK CLEARANCE SALE

A successful clearance sale of dairy stock was held on Monday, January 26. The prices ranged from €1,800 to €3,280.

Some sample prices include:

• 1X FR, 2021 BORN, 625kg, made €2,920.
• 1X FR 2022 BORN, 510kg, made €2,900.
• 1X FR, 2022 BORN, 580kg, made €2,820.
• 1X FR, 2022 BORN, 560kg, made €2,720.

DEPARTMENT REGULATIONS

All animals presenting for sale must be in test and have two tags. Calves must be 11 days or over, have a BVD test and if over 42 days must be TB tested.

SHEEP COLLECTION

Dungarvan Mart holds regular sheep collections with prices available on a Monday. If you wish to be added to the texting service for these collections, please contact the mart on 058 41611. The next sheep collection will be on Tuesday, February 3, with prices available on Monday, February 2.

HILL SHEEP SALE

Waterford Sheepbreeders Association will hold an In lamb/Dry Hogget sale at Dungarvan Mart on Saturday, February 7. Judging will commence at 12 noon and sale starts at 1pm. This sale will include entries from the Munster Blackface Association.

CALF SALES

From Thursday, February 5, we will have dedicated calf sales in Ring 2 starting at 12 noon, intake opens at 9am. All calves must be 11 days old and have two tags. Calves over 42 days need to be TB tested. Calves will be weighed before sale. Viewing/bidding online on livestock-live.com
